Aria is one of the best spots in Diocletian's Palace, Split. Croatian coastal food is Mediterranean at its purest β fresh fish, olive oil, and wine from the hillside above.
π‘ Tips before you go
- Croatia uses euros now β no need to exchange kuna
- Peka (meat/seafood under a bell) must be ordered hours in advance β call ahead
- Fish is priced by kilo β ask for the price before ordering
- Local wines (Plavac Mali red, PoΕ‘ip white) are excellent and cheap by the glass
